An Annual General Meeting of the World Council will be
held at the IOM World Championships, Mooloolaba, AUS, in September
2005. One of the main items on the agenda is the election of the IOMICA Executive Committee for 2005-2007.
The key process is that IOMICA Officers are nominated for their
positions by World Council members, and the World Council elects the
Officers its Owners want from the list of nominations. NCA
Representatives shall vote according to the ballot of their NCA
membership (ie their IOM Owners). The detail of the process will be
similar to that used at the IOM Worlds 2003 at Vancouver. Please
note that the closing date for nominations is 9 July 2005.
The IOMICA Executive Officers Election Procedure document, the
Candidate form, and the Nominater form have been updated.

12 May 2003 - The International One Metre Class Rules 2003 Version 2 come into effect on Thursday 15th May 2003. The new rule and measurement forms are on the ISAF-RSD web site and should be used from the 15th. The old 2002 forms and certificates can be validated and issued until the 12th June 03. All previous 2003 versions (those without V2) should be destroyed to avoid any confusion.
On 12th April 2003 the Interim International One Metre - International Class Association (IOM-ICA) recognised the Australian Radio Yachting Association (Incorporated) as the Division Member (DM) National Class Association (NCA) for Australia. The full name of the DM NCA shall be the "International One Metre National Association for Australia" known within Australia as “International One Metre Australia” (IOMA)
ARYA (Inc) is the first National Authority for the Class approved by the IOM-ICA and the move will provide ARYA member owners of IOM’s with a say in the management of the class, Nationally and Internationally. Members who own a registered International One Metre are invited to join International One Metre Australia at no cost. This will give those owners a direct, democratic voice in the affairs of the IOM Class including membership polls relating to proposed rule changes.
A brief summary of the objectives and functions of International One Metre Australia are:-
